We just finished reviewing Integers and ended the week out with a test! Next week students will be taking the last iReady diagnostic in class and have the week to do it!
Science:
Students finished up their week with a mini presentation on climate change and what they can do to help reduce climate change! Next week we will be conducting some small experiments with water and food coloring! If you are ALL VIRTUAL and have a plastic clear cup and food coloring for your student, they can conduct the experiment as well! If you don’t, we are having students watch someone else conduct the experiment through our curriculum.
Language Arts:
This week we completed our 4th text in our Success unit. Next week we will begin writing our Final Essay, using our Focus Notes, and reviewing strategies for writing Introduction, Body & Conclusion Paragraphs.
Social Studies:
We are currently learning about the origins and connection between the 3 monotheistic faiths - Judaism, Christianity & Islam. As we learn about the origins, and beliefs of the various religious belief systems, students should be taking notes in their own copy of the World Religion Packets. Students will use the knowledge they gain to create a final project about one religious belief system, or comparing similarities and difference between 2 of the belief systems.

Ciencias:
